Breezy Tiki Charters has been running private tiki boat charters on Fort Lauderdale’s Intracoastal Waterway for over a decade. Licensed captains, friendly mates, Coast Guard-certified vessels — built for groups who want to celebrate, not steer the boat.
Why we only run Coast Guard-certified vessels
Coast Guard certified vs. bareboat — why it matters.
A Coast Guard-certified passenger-for-hire vessel is inspected annually for safety, has a licensed captain who has passed federal exams, and includes everything in the charter price. A bareboat charter is recreational only — it doesn’t require a licensed captain, the renter is liable for fuel, insurance and contracts, and the Coast Guard can stop your trip if anything is out of compliance. Breezy Tiki is fully Coast Guard-certified, which is why your group can relax.
Annual Coast Guard inspections
Our 40-foot pontoons pass a full safety inspection every year. That’s why we can legally carry 20 guests — most rentals are capped at 12.
USCG-licensed captains
Every captain has passed federal Coast Guard exams and submits to random drug screenings. None of our trips are bareboat recreational rentals.
No surprise fees
Fuel, ice, captain, mate, water and the bathroom are all included in the charter price. The only thing you bring is the food and drinks.
A real party boat
Bluetooth speakers, lily pad floats, water toys, a private bathroom, a floating cooler — built for celebrations, not just sightseeing.

Originally from New Orleans and a 23-year veteran firefighter in Fort Lauderdale. Loves the water and loves talking to guests.
Raised in South Florida. Passionate about offshore fishing and boating. Committed to making every trip unforgettable.
13 years as a captain. Being out on the water is his happy place — and he’s great at making sure your group enjoys themselves.
Originally from France via New York. A boat is her happy place — and she will do her best to make it yours too.
Moved from western New York to South Florida in 2000 to pursue her passion for boating. Customer service is her top priority.
Four years aboard Breezy Tiki, bringing his charisma, unique talents and excellent customer service to his second family.
A Fort Lauderdale native and mom of four — back in town after her husband started law school at UM.
Originally from the Midwest, moved to South Florida in fall 2024. Brings warmth and a friendly vibe to every trip.
